Tombstones, Tools, Transport - by 20th April
Recumbent effigies of Lord Curzon and his wife carved in Serravezza marble at Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire.
Not exactly a tombstone but the marble statue of the poet Thomas Chatterton who committed suicide after attempting to pass off his work as by someone more famous.
Transport and tool of war. A renovated Motor Torpedo Boat on the River Yare at Reedham, Norfolk.
A Vickers VC10 in BOAC Cunard livery. Loved by passengers but not by the airlines. It was too expensive to operate.
Ale on a lorry.
